With a rich international experience and expertise background, Tina is a valuable addition to Takamichi Hair. Her journey in the hair industry began at the age of 15 in Denmark, where she started by sweeping floors at a local salon. At 17, she embarked on a four-year apprenticeship at Stuhr Hair, Denmark's most renowned salon, laying the foundation for her successful career.
Tina then moved to Manchester, England, where she honed her skills in men's grooming at the iconic Razors Edge salon. By 1995, she joined Vidal Sassoon in London, progressing to become a teacher and eventually a Creative Director in the USA, working in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. After two decades with Sassoon, she toured alongside Tim Hartley, the former Global Creative Director of Sassoon, until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tina's passion for the craft and her dedication to her clients are evident in her career. After relocating to Miami in 2015, she built a loyal clientele at Sean Donaldson Hair, a relationship she maintains by visiting every four weeks. Her dream of living in New York City became a reality last year, where she now divides her time between private clients, freelance teaching, and serving as the personal hairdresser to actress Rosamund Pike for her film roles and red-carpet events—a trusted relationship that began when Rosamund was just 17.
With her move to New York, Tina is excited to add Takamichi Hair to her portfolio, bringing her refined skills and unique artistry to a new clientele.
